Join Chef Nora, from La Tiendita, for a festive Cinco de Mayo cooking class where we'll explore vibrant flavors and traditional Mexican dishes! In this demonstration style class, you'll learn to craft refreshing hibiscus and strawberry aqua fresca, perfect for celebrating the occasion. Next, we'll dive into creating a flavorful poblano, corn and white rice, served alongside classic carne a la Mexicana, featuring a medley of jalapeños, tomatoes, and onions. Finally, we'll top off our culinary adventure with a delectable oven-style rice pudding, a comforting dessert to round out our fiesta.

This class is demonstration style. Sit back and enjoy as Chef Nora cooks and then enjoy the delicious dishes she has created!
We will have chilled water for you during the class; however, you are welcome to bring your own sip. We will have wine glasses for your beverage, should you choose to bring one. We do ask that you do not bring hard liquor.
All reservations for our classes are non-refundable, however, they are transferable to another guest. In the event you are unable to attend a class, please call the shop at your earliest convenience and provide the name you are transferring your reservation to. If you are unable to find a replacement and there is a waitlist for the class, we will do our best to fill your spot. If we are successful, we will apply your fee to a future class.
